Covering a full range of focal lengths, from 27mm wide-angle to 486mm telephoto*, the single built-in lens eliminates the need for time-consuming lens changes. The FinePix S8000fd features an xD/SD compatible slot, allowing the use of either xD Picture Card, SD or SDHC media to store and transfer your photos.

The S8000fd features Fujifilm's Face Detection technology, identifying up to 10 faces in a framed scene.
