With a high max. guide number of 20, the FL-20 ensures effective illumination while the manual, normal auto and auto TTL control modes allow the user the choice between full creativity or worry-free automatic operation. To meet the requirements of CCDs which are more sensitive than film, this model permits flash brightness adjustment in 1/8EV increments.

A high-performance flash for your digital camera
Perfectly matched for all Olympus digital cameras with external flash synchronisation, the high-performance compact flash FL-40 further extends the possibilities of digital photography with GN40 power at tele and GN26 at wide. Featuring four flexible flash modes, settings can be made manually or automatically using its internal sensor. Also extremely versatile, it covers all aperture and lens settings from f=21 mm wide-angle shots to f=80 mm tele-shots. A recycling time of between 0.2 and 8 seconds, depending on batteries, means sequence shots can easily be taken.

Powerful performance for full creative expression
The FL-50 electronic flash is especially suited to skilled hobby users and professional photographers. Ranging from GN50 at the tele setting to GN28 at the wide angle setting, this high-power system gives great flash coverage. Creative control is assured by automatic and manual adjustment of illumination intensity plus a bounce and swivel head. However, it's the newly-developed Super FP mode that really confirms the FL-50' pro status. Here, the flash fires before the shutter opens and stays illuminated until after it closes, enabling flash synchronisation at speeds up to 1/4000th sec. This allows the use of a fill-flash in the brightest of situations. A large range of accessories rounds out this impressive working tool.

The flash bracket FL-BK01 allows you to move your external flash away from the camera. This results in more evenly illuminated subjects and reduced red-eye effect. It gives your shots a more natural look. The flash bracket is designed for use with the high performance external flash units from Olympus (FL-50, FL-40 and FL-20). A flash bracket cable is additionally required to connect the external flash to a compatible Olympus CAMEDIA series digital camera.
